Philosophy of the Practice

Immigration Law Practice

Scott Beller has concentrated in the private practice of Immigration Law since 1980. Clients have included corporations, as well as individuals. Areas of practice have included family-based as well as employment-based cases, and naturalization. Employment-based cases have included nonimmigrant (temporary) visas, including H1B, L-1, R-1 (religious workers), as well as permanent residency based on extraordinary ability, labor certifications, religious workers, and waivers in the national interest. Family-based cases have included visas for spouses, parents, children, fiancees, as well as removal of the conditions on residency. Scott Beller has handled asylum cases, both affirmative cases at the asylum office, as well as defensive cases in immigration court.


Scott Beller has dealt with forums including the Immigration field office located in Chicago, as well as neighboring Indianapolis and Milwaukee, as well as the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
